Sykes Creek Paddle -

Six Trekkers, Ken, Mariam, Bud, Judy, Curt & James met up for a beautiful 12 mile paddle on Sykes Creek. We launched at Kiwanis Island Park, into Barge canal and out to a sandbar in the Lagoon. We saw plenty of dolphin and a manatee. The weather was nice for this trip and the mild breeze kicked in when we got into Barge canal. The water was just perfect for us all to play around and have some extra fun. Ken is always good for helping everyone who wants to get extra activity. Boat traffic was absent on the first half of the paddle and very light on the return. I want to do this one again. It was great fun. Bud snapped a few random shots of play time while we took a break in the shallows.
