Seminole Forest Hike -
Seminole Forest keeps changing, but not for the better. One of my favorite spots is the raised area between Shark's Tooth Spring and where all the roads meet. But this time it was extremely overgrown and flooded on both sides. It also was the source, I think, of all of the red itchy welts on my ankles. Four of us started at the north end and met up with Maryann Wilson and her grandaughter, Erin, at Blackwater Creek. We could barely see the trail leading into the brush, so we hiked to the south end on the road. It did bring back good memories of previous backpacking trips.
