FL Paddlers Rendezvous 2007 was fun! -

A handful of Wilderness Trekkers attended the FL Paddlers' Rendezvous 2007 in the western Panhandle from Oct 25 - Oct 28. It was quite a success, with about 130 paddlers from many different clubs attending. Beautiful cool sunny weather, clear spring-fed rivers such as the Coldwater, Juniper, Blackwater, Boiling Creek and more. Moonlight paddle, whopper telling contest, slide shows, pot luck dinner, mingling with folks from other clubs, interesting river trash contest (Gaz Gazaway won by finding a French Fries cutter/maker) and more. WT'ers included Kim & Karen, Erica J, Judy C, Carl S, Tom K, and Gaz. Next year it looks like the Tampa Bay Sea Kayaking Assoc will host the event in the Tampa Bay area.
