Alafia River Paddle -

As it often is, Saturday was a near perfect day.   There was occassional exposure to 35 mile an hour winds when we paddled through infrequent open areas, but that was only 20-30 minutes all totalled --which isn't too bad for an otherwise perfect day.   I did have 5 or 6 cancellations or no shows-who I couldn't convince that just because it was thundering and storming in Orlando Friday night, that it would be fine on Saturday in Plant City.   Those folks miss out on a lot of fun.
